Optimization of Site Selection and Land-use Planning Standards for 110 kV Substations Under New Power Systems: A Case Study of the Wuhan Power Grid

  • Taking the Wuhan power grid as a pilot case, this paper uses a quantitative planning analysis platform to iteratively compare and evaluate 16 proposed sites for 110 kV substations. A set of quantifiable land-use control standards is then established. The application results show that the standards meet the functional requirements of substations, reduce land occupation, and accelerate planning approval. The standards are applied in the planning and construction of 110 kV substations in Wuhan and provide a reference for other cities facing similar problems.
