Research and Application of Impact-based Internal Pressure Detector for Pole-mounted Gas-filled Switches
-
Abstract
To ensure the operational safety of gas insulated equipment in distribution networks and address the difficulty of rapidly detecting its internal pressure status under live conditions, this study develops an impact-based pressure detector. The detector generates standardized mechanical excitation driven by compressed gas, uses a triaxial displacement sensor to acquire the vibration response of the enclosure, and innovatively employs a support vector machine (SVM) algorithm to intelligently discriminate the extracted time frequency features, thereby achieving non-intrusive pressure status detection. Experimental results show that the detector successfully provides early warning of a gas leakage defect in field application. The detector is nondestructive, efficient, and intelligent, providing an innovative technical means for condition-based maintenance of gas-filled equipment.
