Research on Operation and Maintenance Optimization Path for Rural Integrated Energy Projects

  • Addressing the common challenges faced by rural integrated energy projects in China, such as extreme environments, high operation and maintenance (O&M) costs, and slow fault response, this paper takes an integrated energy project in Pakistan as a reference case. By studying the three core systems of wind, photovoltaic, and energy storage, an integrated O&M optimization system of "environmental adaptation - fault control - localized maintenance" is proposed. For the wind power system, four key measures are highlighted: full-cycle condition monitoring, establishment of standardized fault records, optimization of closed-loop maintenance processes, and design of dynamic yaw control strategies. For the photovoltaic system, low-cost dust monitors are used to achieve precise control of cleaning cycles, and a hierarchical maintenance model ensures stable equipment operation. The energy storage system improves operational efficiency and service life through balanced management of battery cells and adaptive adjustment of charging and discharging strategies.
