Research on Optimization of Installation Technology for 10 kV Overhead Lines and Cable Laying

  • This article addresses key technical challenges in the installation processes of 10kV overhead lines and cable laying, proposing and implementing optimization solutions such as new composite material poles, modular foundation construction, pneumatic cable laying technology, and an intelligent traction force monitoring system. The composite material poles replace traditional steel poles, enhancing wind resistance and structural stability. Modular foundation construction shortens construction time and improves efficiency. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology avoids environmental damage caused by traditional excavation methods. Pneumatic cable laying technology, combined with the traction force monitoring system, ensures a smooth and efficient cable installation process. After optimization, the construction period was reduced by 34%, costs were lowered by 30%, and both construction quality and the long-term stability of the cable system were improved.
