Research on Intelligent Photovoltaic Plasma Nitrogen Fixation System in Agricultural Areas

  • Low-temperature plasma nitrogen fixation technology is considered one of the most promising short-term, energy-saving alternatives to industrial nitrogen fixation. When coupled with renewable energy, it offers a novel pathway for rural areas to achieve localized production and on-demand utilization in a self-sufficient nitrogen fixation mode. To reduce the frequency of manual operations, enhance nitrogen oxide synthesis efficiency, and address the limitations of existing experimental platforms that rely heavily on human intervention, an intelligent photovoltaic plasma nitrogen fixation system for agricultural applications was developed. The system integrates hardware selection, software programming based on PLC and MCGS configuration, and electrical equipment connections within the control cabinet. By introducing gas circulation control, automatic operation of the plasma nitrogen fixation prototype was realized, significantly improving nitrogen oxide synthesis efficiency. These findings further extend the development prospects of integrating green energy with modern agriculture.
