Design and Operation Practice of Hybrid AC/DC Microgrid System Integrating Solar Power, Energy Storage, Charging, and Heating

  • A low-carbon and high-efficiency approach to the utilization and integration of renewable energy is a key direction in the reform of the new power system with renewable energy as the mainstay. This project innovatively integrates photovoltaic power generation, energy storage systems, intelligent microgrids, and high-efficiency thermal storage and heating systems, combined with AC/DC hybrid technology, to construct a flexible, low-carbon "PV-storage-charging-heating" AC/DC hybrid microgrid. This paper analyzes the design and operational principles of the system, elaborates on the coordination mechanism between the electric and thermal subsystems, and verifies its performance based on time-of-use operational data. Practice shows that through flexible load regulation and time-controlled energy storage, the system significantly improves renewable energy integration, effectively mitigating the midday solar output surplus issue. Additionally, the energy storage system adopts a "two-charge-two-discharge" mode to ensure stable power supply for charging piles, achieving flexible coordination between the electric and thermal subsystems.
