Research and Application of Dynamic Voltage Restorer in Photovoltaic Grid-Connected Systems

  • Photovoltaic integration into distribution substations has become a new type of power supply method. However, the characteristics of photovoltaic systems have a significant impact on the distribution substations that cannot be ignored. Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) can enhance the grid's adaptability and stability to changes in photovoltaic power generation, enabling real-time monitoring and dynamic adjustment of voltage in the distribution substations. This paper mainly conducts research from two aspects: the impact of photovoltaic access on the distribution substations and the application principles of DVR in photovoltaic grid integration. The results in comparative experiments show that the DVR can significantly improve the stability and reliability of the grid.
