Abstract:
Decision-making on material transportation modes for traditional mountainous transmission projects often lacks a quantitative basis. This paper proposes a comprehensive evaluation system covering economy, safety based on the LEC method, environmental impact, and construction efficiency. It discusses and compares three transportation modes, namely manual and animal-powered transportation, cableway transportation, and drone transportation, and verifies the system using a photovoltaic power transmission line project in northwestern Zhejiang Province. The results show that drone transportation has low risk, high efficiency, and little ecological damage, but high direct costs. Cableway transportation has relatively high efficiency and moderate costs, but high risk values and considerable ecological damage. Manual and animal-powered transportation has relatively low risk and low costs, but low efficiency and high ecological sensitivity.
