Abstract:
In recent years, fires caused by emerging electrical equipment occur frequently, and the fire suppression process is relatively complex and difficult. This paper summarizes the structural characteristics and fire initiation mechanisms of such equipment, compares the applicable scenarios of fine water mist, perfluorohexanone, heptafluoropropane, and combined fire suppression systems, and analyzes the practical effectiveness of monitoring methods such as residual current detection, arc fault detection, gas sensors, and AI early warning platforms. In addition, improvement suggestions are proposed regarding wire and cable selection, fire stopping, and fire protection equipment layout. The relevant conclusions can provide references for fire suppression system design and revision of fire protection standards.
