Abstract:
As the "last mile" linking the main grid to end-users, the digital and intelligent transformation of the distribution network is a cornerstone for constructing the new-type power system and achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals. This paper systematically reviews the evolutionary trajectory of China's distribution network informatization, spanning from initial exploration to intensive application, and its transition toward digital intelligence, which is from technological emergence to AI-driven empowerment. It delineates key development stages, analyzing the technical characteristics, policy orientations, and practical outcomes of each phase. Addressing the requirements of the new-type power system, the paper identifies core bottlenecks in the integration of informatization and digital intelligence. Finally, it outlines future directions from technological, policy, and industrial perspectives, providing theoretical and practical insights for the high-quality development of distribution networks.
