Abstract:
The challenge of cooling workstations during overhaul without power interruption in distribution networks remains a significant and persistent issue. Conventional cooling garments and battery-powered cooling systems offer certain cooling benefits but are limited by their materials and battery capacity, resulting in unsatisfactory performance in terms of endurance and cooling capacity. This paper proposes a mechanical non-electric cooling system powered by the hydraulic drive of an insulating aerial device. The system utilizes hydraulic oil flow to drive a hydraulic motor, which in turn operates the compressor unit to provide cooling for overhaul without power interruption workstations. Compared to traditional cooling devices, the proposed system demonstrates notable improvements in both operational endurance and cooling effectiveness.
