Abstract:
The smart construction site is an important approach to enhancing innovation and management in substation engineering. Its practical application in substation projects warrants further study. Taking a 220 kV substation project in Quanzhou as a case study, this paper first introduces the project overview and key aspects of smart construction site implementation. It then outlines three core modules of the system: on-site deployment of intelligent sensing hardware, construction of the site communication network, and data transmission and access. Sensor data related to personnel, vehicles, materials, environmental conditions, and structural displacement within the substation site are analyzed and discussed. Finally, the outcomes of applying the smart construction site approach in substation engineering are summarized. The case implementation offers valuable insights for future applications of smart construction sites in substation projects.
