Abstract:
At present, multi-rotor drones have been widely used in the inspection of overhead power lines in distribution networks, assisting line maintenance personnel in improving the overall inspection quality and efficiency. At the same time, traveling wave fault positioning technology has also been effectively promoted in overhead power lines with large power supply radius and complex operating environment, assisting fault repair personnel in significantly reducing fault location time. This article mainly studies the application of unmanned aerial vehicles in grid based inspection of distribution networks, combined with traveling wave fault location technology, to implement a rapid special inspection plan for overhead line faults in distribution networks, in order to achieve the goals of voltage drop fault search time, improve fault repair and maintenance efficiency, and further enhance the reliability of regional power supply.
