Abstract
To prevent equipment tripping incidents caused by bird damage from affecting power grid safety, most substations are equipped with bird repellent equipment. However, the current bird repellent devices have problems such as low intelligence level, single mode, easy adaptability of birds, and difficulty in detecting damage, resulting in poor bird repellent effects. A new type of intelligent bird repellent device has been developed for this purpose. The device utilizes Internet of things technology to distribute bird repellent units, achieving full coverage of bird repellent areas within the substation while facilitating real-time access to the operational status of bird repellent units by personnel. This device can actively detect birds and adopt various intensity adjustable bird driving modes to adaptively drive away birds, effectively improving the success rate of bird driving and protecting the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
