Abstract
As an important component of the power system, substations play a core role in the power system. Responsible for converting the electricity generated by the power plant into electricity suitable for transmission and distribution. However, with the continuous expansion of the power system scale and the increasing power load, traditional centralized power flow control strategies have shown certain limitations in responding to complex power system changes and demands. In order to improve the operational efficiency and stability of the power system, distributed power flow controller has gradually become a new technology that has received much attention. This article proposes a control and protection strategy based on a distributed power flow controller and conducts a detailed study of its application in practical power systems.
