Abstract

In order to improve the operation stability of EHV substation, the application of power communication monitoring system in 500 kV EHV substation is analyzed. The characteristics and structure of power communication monitoring system are described respectively. Taking a substation as an example, the application points of power communication monitoring system are proposed. Give full play to the role of the monitoring system to improve the operation safety and reliability of the EHV substation.
