Improved Combination Control Strategy for VSC-MTDC

  • In order to solve the problems of large DC bus voltage fluctuation and slow dynamic response of the multiterminal back-to-back flexible system of the distribution network, an improved combined control strategy was proposed. Firstly, the mathematical model of the system is established, and then the variable coefficient droop control is introduced into the voltage margin control, and the system coordinated control strategy is designed for three typical operating scenarios of the main converter. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy and controller is verified by simulation.
