Development and Application of an Intelligent Tool Management Device

There are many kinds and quantities of tools and instruments used in the process of substation maintenance, which makes manual management difficult and time-consuming and seriously affects the efficiency of substation maintenance. This paper presents a design scheme of a new tool and instrument management device, which realizes the automatic identification and list management of substation maintenance tools and instruments by using sensor module, wireless communication and mobile App, and ensures that it is easy to carry, safe and efficient, integrates multiple functions, and brings great convenience to the daily management of tools and instruments.
