Development of Novel Conductor and Earth Wire Crimp Platform

  • In order to improve the quality of conductor and earth wire crimp of transmission line and ensure that the bending degree of the crimping pipe of the transmission line can meet the requirements of the transmission line engineering standards, a new type of conductor and earth wire crimp platform for the transmission line is developed. The crimp platform mainly includes three parts: crimping pipe fixed bracket module, crimping machine transmission module and electronic measurement module. Before crimping, the crimp position is determined according to the length of the crimping pipe. In the process of crimping, both ends of the crimping pipe remain fixed. According to the measured length of the crimping position by the electronic measurement module, the moving distance of the crimping machine on the guide rail is determined. Experiment results showed that the crimp platform can effectively improve the quality of transmission line crimping, improve the efficiency and reliability of crimping, and the application of the crimp platform is profound.
